A LITTLE BIT ABOUT KEV

Hey y’all, thanks for stopping by! My name is Kevin Ivey Morrison, but you can call me Kev. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. A southern boy that has been serving smiles and jokes since 1998.

I fell in love with musical theatre at the age of 8 when my brother and mother forced me to audition for the school musical “Willy Wonka Jr.”, of which I played the coveted role of Oompa Loompa #2. Ever since then, my love for this art form has snowballed into my greatest passion, and I am forever thankful.

I graduated from Syracuse University with my B.F.A. in musical theatre in 2021. While at Syracuse, I honed my craft, made lifelong friendships and grew in so many different ways as an artist and a human. My love for this crazy art from grew even more.

Since graduating, I have been fortunate enough to work regionally and nationally around the country. Most recently on the national tour of Mean Girls!

When I’m not onstage, you can find me reading a good (usually a Reese Witherspoon recommended) book, crocheting, watching Wendy Williams compilations, drinking coffee at night or watching Julie and Julia for the millionth time.
